Lutein plays a very important role for pregnant women and fetuses. FloraGLO® is a free form lutein, a new form modified based on the ester form. Ester lutein contains fat components and has a larger molecular weight. Since free lutein has been hydrolyzed to remove fatty acids, it does not need to go through the process of human digestion and it can be absorbed better by the body.
